It's not been all bad

I support companies to adopt standards by providing an easy to use cloud-based standards library
Ok I will admit being stuck at home during this long pandemic has not been all bad. I have had the pleasure of no traffic jams, very few early starts, finishing work on time the majority of days and most notable of all watching our little pup grow up, how on earth we would have coped without working from home over those first few months the good Lord only knows.
I guess I’m sounding a bit like “what have the Romans done for us” here, but apart from the above, being affectively housebound during office hours for the last 18 months has been damn well awful. I so miss my old life, I miss the pattern of the day, I miss meeting new people and learning about their business, I miss listening to the radio on the way to a client, I miss the stories we tell each other when first meeting to break the ice. Oh, and I hate Teams meetings even though I accept they have been very useful over the crisis, it’s just not the same as meeting people face to face.
So as someone that has been double jabbed, is healthy as far as I know, and now having access to more home test flow kits that one could ever hope to use, when will we be able to go and meet customers again.

I have just come back from the coast on a camping trip as we could not get a hotel/ B&B for love nor money. I noted there were hundreds of people on the beaches, pubs were full, restaurants had to be booked well in advance and generally there seemed little by way of social distancing, so when will your business allow personal visits again, will they ever ?
If you would like to talk about how standards can help your business and would like to discuss ways of sharing such information why not contact me.?We could talk on the phone, send each other long messages on email, have yet another Teams meeting or maybe one day in the not too distant future meet face to face, have a cup of coffee and a great conversation.
Take good care?
