Who is Avi?

If you have children in your life ... they know Avi. He has written more than 70 books. His words, “I’ve rewritten and reedited each of my books as many as 70?80 times ... rewriting is an important part of my work.” That’s partly due to his dysgraphia, but also because he wants to use the best phrasing to tell his stories. What author wouldn’t want to use their best phrasing for their stories ... their books?

• As a student, he was a poor writer. In high school, he failed all his courses.
