Thank God it's Friday too!!!

Welcome to another edition of Customer Service &In-Between.?

Every first full working week in October each year over the past 3 decades ,is dedicated to appreciating customers and front line staff of every organization who dedicate themselves to serving and attending to the needs of the customer.

This year's Customer Service Week theme is 'Team Service',a great reminder that wherever front line reps are working or whatever their job titles are, or where or how they deliver service to customers, there is only one goal in mind; 'servicing the customer', thus making us members of the same team??.

It is a time to appreciate,motivate,give back and show that these set of people are held in high esteem in any organization.

Front line staff are the lifeline and most precious asset of ANY organization.Why?

They are the interface between any organization and their customers.?

Treating front line employees decently and with respect,will determine to a large? extent how customers will be attended to.?

This season belongs to both your frontline staff and customers and they need to know they are valued.?

Below are some of the ways you can make the week memorable for them:

??Celebrate Them(Awards & Recognition )

??Motivate? Them(Thank You Notes,Team Bonding Outing)

??Reward Them(Tokens/Gifts)

This week in your organization,the atmosphere and ambiance should?be inviting and welcoming with decorations, souvenirs,thank you cards/ emails ,light refreshments and gifts for your customers

For your employees,you can organize a retreat where you can appreciate them for the year long hard work they have put in to serve customers and keep the business standing.?

These acts should be a? regular occurrence and not just at this period only.

Recognizing your customers at this time will make them trust you more ,remain loyal ,feel valued and want to spend more,while on the part of your staff ,it will boost their moral ,increase productivity and give them a sense of belonging.

This event is once in a year and partaking in it as an organization can set the tone for the coming business year .
