It's not all Zoom and gloom

It's not all Zoom and gloom

This is from Ella Rose Trout, aged nine, and reminds me of the thought that you get whatever future you feed.

What the Future Will Look Like

So have you ever thought about what the future will look like? I imagine it as a nice place where there are robots everywhere, clean energy, and no taxes. I imagine a nice and happy world where people give lots of hugs and are always considerate of other people. The robots help with buying things, grocery shopping, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

As you can see, many people predict the future as a happier and nicer world. In the future, I don’t think people will need to drive because robots will be driving for us. To get around, we won’t need to walk because the robots will take us everywhere. Also, we will have flying cars with wings to take us places. I think in the future we will all still be living on Earth but new planets will be discovered and we will live closer to the moon.

I hope that scientists will make better medications and new treatment options. Also, we will be able to live forever, but not everyone will be able to. There will be scale in the doctor’s office when you are born that can tell you how long you get to live. Honestly, I think that people in the future will be throwing parties and having fun. I imagine that there will be new social media apps. Our cities will be run by drones that have lots of energy to carry people around. I think that we won’t need phones anymore because we will have robots instead. I believe that in the future school will be a combination of online and in person learning. In conclusion, I think that the future will be a great place where everything and everyone is very happy.
