It's all in the Way We Think
I can't help writing an article about the state of what is happening in our world. All over the Internet are very angry people who are judging one way or another what people in power should or should not do. They are not there and do not know all the facts. I am not favoring either party as I vote for the person I think can make significant changes in our world.
It seems that Republicans favor Trump and nothing he can say or do phases them. It seems that Democrats favor their candidate; in this case Hillary Clinton, and wanted her to win, so they are angry she didn't. They will not find one positive thing to say about the President people voted in.
I'm wondering WHY people wanted Trump so bad that he won the election. There must be a reason, I tell myself. People wanted change. They were sending a message. Did we hear it?
Now, I wouldn't say he went about his first six months the right way. No one should EVER insult anyone. We are all equal, except for the evil (I'll get to them, later) no matter what sex, religion, occupation, etc., and all of us need to get equal respect. Words have power to influence people. Shame on him for his use of words. Maybe, he'll come to his senses and only say what is necessary and that which would resonate with all people. One can hope.
Yet, Madonna wants to "blow up the White House and everyone is enraged at his comments. I, personally, don't care what he says; I care what a President does! He is the President, so that's what we have now. Whoever would have been President I would have supported and given them a chance to change the wrong and implement the right.
Instead, our country is filled with hate toward him and the world. Call me "Mrs.way too positive" if you want. I'm in my 7th decade and have been through many Presidents. I'm still here and have learned to look at things with an open mindset. Never a need for hate and usually, if someone is a hater, there is a deeper reason (here comes my psychology background) that they are hateful.
Over years, I have found being open serves great purpose in life. Life does not turn out the way we think it should or will. An example is my age of 73. I could think I can't do things because I am old or I can CHOOSE to think I can do anything a younger person can do (maybe slower) and then some. Your mind will bring forth what you tell it to. I, truly, believe that, wholeheartedly, because of many experiences I've had in my lifetime
If you have friends of many cultures, you learn so much. I had a wonderful girl who was Muslin work with me when I first started out in business. She's still in my heart. There was a woman from Egypt, who came in twice to work with me. She was also Muslin. I am part of an International Association where I had the opportunity to share a meal with people from many cultures around the world. It was fantastic. I've collaborated with Black Americans, Asians, and many other people, not like myself, who taught me so much about life. It really is a lost opportunity if you stay stagnant within your own race or fail to understand the sexual choices of others. What they do with their lives is their business!
So, I urge you to alter your mindset and think positively about life. Live each day as if it were your last, and just enjoy your life. Love ALL people and learn from them. Pray for the victims of the evil, but do live your life. At 73, I am living mine to the fullest.
Oh, and about the EVIL people who are running people over with trucks, here is my message for you.
GROW UP, find a way to love, not hate. You are doing yourself a disservice by wanting to blow yourselves up, run over innocent people and for what? You think you are part of a group? How about actually being a part of a group, a group that does good for people? It's an excuse that you may have come from a family that did not give you the love and belonging you needed as a child. Many, even me, came from feeling that way. Instead of wanting to hurt myself, I made the decision to grow, find peace within myself, make good choices and continuing to learn anything and everything I could for the rest of my life. It's so much better than what you are doing. Too bad, you will never find out, as America will find you and take you out. You chose the wrong group!
We may never wipe out evil in our world so we must accept what is and be mindful of our surroundings. If you see a truck, especially a white truck, RUN as far and as far as you can. Try not to go where there are large crowds and protect your children within an inch of your life.
Going back to Mindset,
If you tell your mind something positive, it will prevail. Mind over Matter. I've been told twice many times I was a goner. I'm still here and I believe itis due to my mindset. I've been open all my life and because of that, I've had success, both in my personal and profession life. I plan to live at least until I’m 100 and due to my mindset, keeping up with exercise and eating right, I see myself still typing away even then.
Your mind will work for you if you are open to being positive. It has for me.
