It's all tangled up in my head

It's all tangled up in my head

To continue the story....

11. And that I think is the crux of the matter. No I dont think I think I deserve it (not a typo - that’s how vague I am about what’s going on in my head). It’s not my team. It’s just a beautiful message from the universe telling me good things are coming my way.

12. I know I’ve made it all too difficult up until now but I’m finally excited to sell it. It will pay for flights for holidays next year. And that is amazing. Plus a donation to charity and I’ll get a tax deduction for that so it’s very triple win.

13. I google it because I probably need to try and sell it before Xmas - there is one for sale for $800….

ARGH!!!! Time to start the process all over again.

What I’m taking away from this is the need for us to keep questioning ourselves to make our lives easier.

Here’s some questions that might be useful. I’ll continue working through them and keep you posted on the guernsey!

1. Do you have a friend that will tell it to you like it is? You need one.

2. If something happens that creates a big ruckus in your mind and never ending turmoil, do you ignore it or sit quietly and try to work out what’s behind it?

3. If you arent comfortable and confident about money, is it time to do something about it? (Side note - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of the financial advisers that are my LinkedIn connections - they are all brilliant as both people and advisers).

4. When you know you’ve got thoughts about something that really aren't helpful, do you accept this as how it is, or do you look for better alternatives?

5. Is it time to learn something new to make it easier, not just for now, but to possibly save you hours and hours of stress for your future self?

6. Are there things in life you are making more difficult than they need to be? Can you simplify?

So, who’s your team and what will you do for them? Fun fact, in 2005 I camped outside the SCG overnight to get tickets to a Sydney Swans Grand Final. It was winter. I don’t do winter very well. I am still shocked I did it. And hell yes, of course we won!!! What a day.
