It's all about Strategy, Talent and Cash if you want to Scale Up...

It's been a hectic 2 weeks so let me catch you up on anything you may have missed and reveal some inspiring news about our May 23/24 Summit.

The last 2 weeks have been packed with helping two CEO's with their Scale Up Strategy and running the first Scale Up 1 Day Accelerator of the year in London.

Here are 3 top lessons you can use to help you on your seven-figure journey...

1. ?????? ?????????? ???????? ???? ?????????????????? & lack of skill...

What’s the single main reason so many entrepreneurs fail on their 7-figure journey? Ignorance in one of the core 5 areas a CEO needs to master. Harsh but true. You simply don’t know what you don’t know… and it kills your company!

What’s the solution? Move from unconscious incompetence to conscious incompetence. Figure out what your ‘blindspots’ are, get coaching to help accelerate your skill development and recruit talent to fill the other gaps.

BONUS TIP- If you’re hiring for a skillset you don’t possess or is not your area of expertise, ask for help from someone who a master in this area! You can’t spot what good looks like in an area you aren't skilled in like Sales or Finance. So the risk is you'll make a poor hire which will cost you time, money and opportunities.

2. Talent can unlock your next level of growth...

If you want to scale up your company, you'll need to get the right team dynamics around you so you can free up your time to work on the business.

Hire people who can support you with marketing, sales, operations, finance and management of operations. A great team will get results in the toughest markets or times. If you can't build a team you can't live the dream.

Your job as a CEO is to Create Expansion Opportunities. You do this by attracting the right talent and supporting and empowering them to make decisions and drive growth. Make sure your team has a mixture of strengths, skills and personality types (we recommend Contribution Compass ) - don’t just stick in people like you; make sure you have people with a range of talents like, sales, analytics, planning, organisational and creativity.

3. Cash follows assets and activity...

During the 1 day accelerator, I shared the 5 steps in a cash-generating customer journey that you need to have in place if you want to successfully scale up. The key here is to have the right assets at each stage that drive the right activity so that customers take the next logical step and keep buying into your brand and your products.
