With more than 30,000 restorations placed in the mouth worldwide during the past 15 years, Creamed is a world leader in hybrid glass-ceramic dental restoration materials.? The company’s new multi-color AMBARINO? High Class discs and blocks received FDA clearance in September of 2022 (510k #K222723) and are now available in the United States.

The “damping” properties of AMBARINO? High Class is what makes this material different.? AMBARINO? is 60% lighter than comparable zirconia restorations.? Additionally, its proprietary blend of 70% aesthetic glass with 30% chemically bonded polymers gives the material incredible beauty and strength while allowing it to bend and flex under pressure.? This “damping” effect makes AMBARINO? restorations feel (and look) more like natural teeth compared to other ceramic, acrylic or hybrid materials being used in dentistry today.? Especially for implant restorations, this damping effect passes less energy and stress through the implant and into the bone where the periodontal ligament was removed as part of placing the implant.?

Multi-color 98.5 mm discs are available in most standard Vita shades for immediate shipment, and chairside milling blocks are also available.? Multi-color discs have five blended layers of color and translucency, allowing advanced CAD/CAM designers to create more luminescent restorations with a lighter more translucent material at the top.? For most restorations, no additional characterization is required – just mill, polish, and seat.
