ITI Insights: Europe Focus June - July Newsletter

Welcome to the ITI Insights: Europe Focus newsletter.???

Dear readers,?

In Brussels, preparations are in full swing for the new institutional cycle.?

EU institutions are setting up their structures and preparing their agendas and priorities for the coming years, including in the all-important fields of digital and trade policy.

In this context, ITI has had an exciting summer to say the least.?

We followed up our recent visit to Budapest with visits to Madrid, Paris and Athens.

In all capitals, we were pleased to engage with national administrations, multilateral forums like the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as well as the EU cybersecurity agency, ENISA.?

We delivered a simple but crucial message: Europe needs to support technological innovation to boost its competitiveness. Successfully implementing new digital legislations will be crucial to achieve that.?

We continue—with renewed certainty—to advocate for our?ITI Vision 2030?to become a reality.?

Happy reading,

Guido Lobrano
