Iterate or obliterate

It’s a hard-core title, I know. But time is finite and we have so much to do in this lifetime that standing still is out of the question. Physics has proven that everything is in perpetual motion, all the way down to the tiniest particle. So why is our nature as humans, oftentimes, to stand still?
Funny thing is that even when we think we aren’t changing, the universe is changing us, warping us in tiny, imperceptible ways. The only choice we have in this lifetime is this: how will we dance with the ever-changing unknown, and will we choose to dance at all?
Steve Jobs once said, “We're here to put a dent in the universe.” And we are. But where we can leave a dent is entirely dependent on where there’s room for one.
It’s our job to find that shiny, lacquered, smooth spot just hurtin’ for our unique dent. But as soon as you’ve found it? It moves. Life is a cruel game of psychic whack-a-mole that requires us to adapt at warp-speed.
Which brings me to iteration. It’s as important a concept in our personal lives as it is in business. And in the spirit of iteration, I’m looking for my next smooth spot with something very specific: this newsletter. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what it is you want from these newsletters, how I can do better, and where to find my shiny, lacquered, smooth spot to go next.
Click here to help me iterate.
Wheels up,
