ITechLaw Succeeds in Seattle

ITechLaw Succeeds in Seattle

ITechLaw once again proved itself to be one of the most worthwhile investments in tech law. To begin with, the substantive law obtained from the diverse panels and speakers expanded my knowledge and raised a number of thought provoking questions. My clients will benefit from this exposure to thought leaders and their insight, particularly on governance, GDPR, third party liability for IP infringement, and data security.

This conference, I organized and moderated a panel on space law. My panelists really hit a home run in discussing issues relating to space law. I thank them immensely for helping me bring this substantive area of law about which I have such passion to ITechLaw.

Beyond the substantive discussions on law, I renewed connections with colleagues across the globe. I also met new friends from Lithuania, Finland, Peru, to name just a few of the many countries represented. The connections I obtain enable me to provide global contacts and reach for my clients as well as colleagues who might need legal counsel in diverse geographic and practice areas.

For my startup and commercial space clients, I made particular connections that led to insightful discussions and potential future collaborations. I also discussed practice management with my fellow attorneys that will help Mudd Law improve its client services and internal dynamics.

Of course, the social events continued to astound, particularly 0his year with a Gala Dinner at MoPop.

Finally, I can assure members and future members that our Board - on which I serve - completed successful endeavors to plan and implement for the future. Of course, I welcome any comments from members and followers alike on any relevant subjects. I will be pleased to share them with ITechLaw leadership.

Membership in ITechLaw and attendance at ITechLaw events returns significant value. I recommend it to anyone interested in staying at the cutting edge of tech law issues and wanting to meet the world’s tech law leaders for personable discussions over coffee or dinner.
