Another Worry About Dating Apps: Minors On Its Platforms

Serious singles have more to worry about dating apps besides casual daters and scammers: minors bypassing age restrictions. According to a study by Flinders University, children as young as 12 are finding their way on these platforms. And teens even thought that it was normal for them to be on an adult dating app.

A speed dating event in India has caused outrage online after the difference between ticket pricing for men and women was revealed. Women were charged Rs 99 ($1.21) for entry. However, the ticket price for men was significantly higher at Rs 1,499 ($18.28), causing many criticisms online.

Research Shows How Men Are Using AI in Their Dating Life

Research by an AI date coaching company, Attractiontruth, revealed that 20% of its 1,371 male respondents use AI tools to help spice up their dating profiles. According to the survey, 37% of men who use AI felt more confident towards women. However, some online daters find the use of AI “impersonal” or even “creepy.”?
