Issue 68: A Tuesday edition with 40 roles and another "must watch" content pick
Andrea Donatucci
Senior Manager @ Accenture | Women's ERG Chapter Co-Lead | Digital Storyteller | Content Curator and Strategist | People Connector
I’m back with an early week edition...?
I am currently within a 4-week cycle that is packed with a combination of professional development and travel. It kicked off last week with the start of a 6-month long virtual leadership development program through a series of half-day panels and speakers, will continue next week with the Women’s Leadership program at MIT and will wrap up with some time away from screens and work to recharge.?
As I experience my employer’s program and do the prep materials for MIT, I am deep in self-reflection and themes that are coinciding. Here’s a few of the take-aways so far:?
This moving from scarcity to abundance was top of mind as I watched one of the videos that was part of my prep materials from MIT.??

A Must Watch: Abby Wambach’s 2018 commencement address at Barnard College: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJe40l2waxs ?
In it she lays out 4?life lessons:?
Rule 1: Make failure your fuel
Rule 2: Lead from the bench
Rule 3: Champion each other
Rule 4: Demand the ball
Rule three really stuck out to me – especially since it echoed many of the points that are managing directors were sharing so I wanted to include an excerpt below (for those who do not have 30 minutes to spare to watch the full address):?
“Women must champion each other. This can be difficult for us. Women have been pitted against each other since the beginning of time for that one seat at the table. Scarcity has been planted inside of us and among us. This scarcity is not our fault. But it is our problem. And it is within our power to create abundance for women where scarcity used to live.?
As you go out into the world: Amplify each others’ voices. Demand seats for women, people of color and all marginalized people at every table where decisions are made. Call out each other’s wins and just like we do on the field: claim the success of one woman, as a collective success for all women.?
Joy. Success. Power. These are not pies where a bigger slice for her means a smaller slice for you. These are infinite. In any revolution,?the way to make something true starts with believing it is. Let’s claim infinite joy, success, and power—together.”?

With those inspiring words... let’s move on to the section that is typically our main event...?

My husband and I have named our home, our car, our network: 'Hineywaltz'. It's a play on the word abundance. A-bun-dance.
