6 个月Jason Presement - so in regards to Sat being a viable backup (at this time) to subsea cables - I say not even close. this statement (from one of the articles) is partially correct with respect to capacity, but I disagree with reliability. We have little data on long term viability and full resiliency of Sat in LEO at high scale. - "While satellites might be more resilient than subsea cables, one significant challenge keeps them from being a complete and viable backup: capacity.". I care to disagree that we are even close to understanding reliability for LEO satellites that require very high numbers to attain capacity in their constellations .
