Hi Bestie,
Is it me, or is 2024 going super fast?
I haven't been up to anything exciting. I'm happy to say that I've batched my social media content for Your Writing Bestie for the rest of 2024. I'm also working on some projects that you'll hear about soon.
Anyway, I hope you're doing great; if not, I hope that changes soon.
Today, I'll be chatting about email marketing.
While I started out blogging, I found that many of my clients also needed email marketing support, so I took courses and read and got pretty good at it over time. Now it's like my favorite thing to do.
Speaking of clients, if you need content or copy support, I'm accepting new clients for October 2024! For example, if you're going to have a Black Friday sale and need an email marketing campaign, I got you. If you need a free consultation to find out how I can help with anything copy or content-related, let's hop on a quick call or just hit reply to this email.
Anyway, let's get into the tips.
Writing Tip ??
Repurposing your blog posts via email is a great way to get fresh eyes on your blog post, boost SEO (more on that later), and give your content a new life. If you're thinking of repurposing your blog posts into emails, instead of copying and pasting the whole blog post into your email, try:
Hot take, but you don't always have to link to your blog post when repurposing it in your email. Yes, it's better for SEO, but you can take the main idea of your blog post and create fresh content.

Also, you don't have to repurpose your blog post only once. You can repurpose it as often as possible; just space out your repurposing and get creative.
In addition to emails, you can turn your blog posts into checklists, ebooks, courses, social media posts, and more. If you'd like to learn more about repurposing, let me know, and I'll share my secrets.
SEO Tip ??
Email marketing can boost your SEO efforts, and here is why.
One word: Traffic.
By including links to your blog posts in your emails, you can increase traffic to your site, increase the chances of social shares and backlinks, and, therefore, get an SEO boost.
But here's the thing: you must ensure your blogging content is relevant to your email list.
For example, if your blog is about quick and easy recipes for people on the go, your email list should be people interested in that, too.
Disclaimer: including your blog posts in your email does not guarantee that they will appear on the first page of the search results page; in fact, they probably won't, but it can help you attract more attention to your blog posts.
Oh, and don't forget to let your subscribers know to share your blog posts!
