Issue #3 - Blog it!

Blogs are fantastic media to express your point in a more detailed manner. But most of the companies' blogs miss out on putting the content relatively simply. Hence, blogging in simple human readable manner is a great tool to get your startup some recognition.

I learnt this the hard way. We never had a blog nor did we ever think about blogging because "gamers got no time to read blogs". Turns out I was dead wrong (luckily, realized this before things got out of hand) and when we published our first blog, we had just 390 views and converted 100+ of those visitors as users.

So, what did we learn about blogging?

Keeping it honest, we are still learning (thus this will be a short one with just 3 points).

1. Keep it sweet and simple

It works wonders. You don't necessarily have to use a ton of jargons and complicated sentences.

"AI infused smart platform for groceries personalized to find cost effective deals for XYZ" is too much jargony. Its simple version could be "personalized deals for groceries." Let me know what could be simpler even in the comments.

2. Restrict to 3 Scopes

Content generation is a tough process, especially as a startup where time and resources are limted. So, pick up 3 scopes of content which is underserved and write wonderfully (and proofread multiple times).

3. Maintain a theme

Your blog effectively reflects your startup and you would want to make sure it sends across the right message to the visitor. Pick your theme carefully (not just the color theme but also the content theme).
