We proudly announced the acquisition of GTSC, the largest energy training provider in the Middle East. This strategic move significantly expanded our presence across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt, adding over 100 highly skilled employees and state-of-the-art training facilities to our global network. Since its creation in 1993, GTSC has successfully trained nearly one million professionals, covering essential areas such as HSE, offshore survival, firefighting and other critical skills needed in the energy sector.?
With this acquisition, we are better positioned to meet the growing demand for safety-critical training in the Middle East and beyond. GTSC’s industry-accredited courses align perfectly with our mission to provide innovative learning solutions that support workforce development in high-risk industries. Backed by our private equity partner, Bluewater, this acquisition strengthens our commitment to upskilling workforces and reinforcing safety standards on a global scale.?

Hani Sagr has joined us as Managing Director for the MENA region, bringing with him more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across oil and gas, mining and energy sectors. Hani’s strategic vision and extensive regional expertise will be crucial in driving skills development aligned with the ambitions of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and other national priorities.??
Jamie Purves has been appointed Managing Director for Managed Services. With over 20 years of experience in the training sector, Jamie brings a wealth of expertise in onshore and offshore energy markets. His leadership will be instrumental in expanding our global footprint and furthering our mission to enhance workforce upskilling across industries.?

Driving Innovation in Maritime Training?
We had the honour of hosting senior officials from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) at our state-of-the-art training centre in Aberdeen. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate on addressing key challenges in the maritime industry, particularly the upskilling of the workforce to meet the evolving demands of both traditional and renewable energy sectors.?
We discussed important topics such as decarbonisation, which is reshaping the maritime industry and how to ensure workforce readiness in this transition. As the industry shifts toward greener energy solutions, the demand for skilled personnel in offshore energy and marine renewables is rapidly increasing. Our visitors were eager to explore how our advanced training technologies can support this transformation.?
Our training technologies, including lifeboat simulators and sea survival programmes, are vital in preparing professionals for offshore energy projects. These immersive tools replicate real-life scenarios, ensuring trainees are equipped to handle emergency situations in offshore environments.?

In an exciting new partnership with PNI Training Centre in Norway, we are introducing the state-of-the-art KraneSIM:6000 crane simulator, a game-changer in offshore crane training. This cutting-edge technology will revolutionise training standards for offshore crane operators, offering a highly immersive and realistic training experience that meets both national and international standards. Scheduled to be operational in 2025, the KraneSIM:6000 represents a major upgrade to PNI’s existing training capabilities, ensuring that crane operators are equipped with the skills needed to safely and efficiently handle complex offshore operations.?
This partnership supports Norway’s vital offshore energy sector, providing essential training solutions to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the oil, gas and renewable energy industries.
