The weeks after the holiday were stormy and quite full. After children's birthdays and starting school, we are now slowly getting back to ‘real’ everyday life ...

There's just as much going on outside. I'm capturing some of it for you here and hope you'll like and share it. Because that's the only way to bring it to life — Super Diffusion.

?? Fossil madness off the coast of Borkum

A large gas field is to be developed off the coast of Borkum, which could jeopardise the Paris Climate Agreement. The state of Lower Saxony has already granted authorisation, but an agreement under international law between Germany and the Netherlands is still required. Robert Habeck , Annalena Baerbock and Olaf Scholz must now decide whether they want to support the gas project or protect the climate targets and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea.

From a democratic perspective, the poll results for the upcoming state elections in Thuringia look anything but rosy. At the moment, the right-wing extremist H?cke could be elected state premier with the votes of the BSW – Bündnis Sarah Wagenknecht. The BSW is not positioning itself clearly against the radical right-wing AfD and is leaving everything open.

Here is an important event note: The ‘Beyond Economy Festival’ will take place on 17th of September in Munich. It aims at a sustainable and regenerative economic transformation. Experts, companies, start-ups, investors and sponsors will meet there to discuss responsible capitalism and the social welfare economy. Participants can network, exchange innovative ideas and work on practical projects. The event focuses on concrete action and promotes a future fit for grandchildren through collective action. The organisation behind it is the Sym network. Sym sees the festival as the start of a joint movement ... I will be there!
