Hi! This is 'Super Diffusion' again…
What can I say? The times remain stormy and unstable. That's why my feeds contain a lot about politics - the shift to the right in Europe and the diverse opposition to diversity - and the increasingly drastic dimensions of the climate catastrophe.
And so this time, too, I would like to share the following information with you. Like it, share it & and make it come to life — Super Diffusion!
? After election is before election
I would like to draw your attention to an online event organised by our friends at 'BNW - Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft'. Under the title "Strengthening democracy, diversity and sustainability in companies", a meeting will take place on 9 July at 13h, which will focus on corporate responsibility and corporate political responsibility.
So, I'll be there.
?????? Datalove
Various maps in a post by Stefan Fichtel show how dramatically the gap between East and West in Germany is widening. No wonder we are experiencing a political fault line here. The once promised "blühenden Landschaften" are turning out to be deserted, dependent and underprivileged regions in which right-wing and extreme ideas can spread unhindered. Why? Because no positive utopias and visions of the future are being created that can be linked to these people.
At the same time, a very nice visualisation by Chris Pham, which I came across in a post by Sebastian Winkler, draws attention to the fact that it is not "areas" but "people" who go to the polls. So if you replace the area-based representation of election results with a per voter population figure, the picture no longer looks so bleak.
Nevertheless, the task remains the same: dialogue, connection and feedback between East and West.

?? Rising temperatures
Temperatures are rising around the globe - Germany will also be affected by significant climatic changes. In a simulation, US researchers show how drastic the developments could be if emissions continue to rise.
Anyone interested can look up their current location on this city map here and find out what climate they will be facing in 2080. This comparison is then made with current climatic conditions to give you an idea.
Bremen, for example, will experience a climate in 2080 that already prevails today in Matelica, Italy - almost on the same level as Rome.
???? Music to find focus
Especially in wild times, music always helps me to find my centre and focus. The latest album from Nonkeen "All good?" is helping me once again these days.
And even if the answer to this question is more likely to be a resounding "Jein" for many people these days, the tracks on the album continue to help me find my centre.
And now it‘s on you — make ?super diffusion‘ come to live! Share some links and/ or the whole issue. Make your friends become follower.
