Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Growth

Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) team is excited to launch three new Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

These ERGs joined our six others:

  • VETS, our group dedicated to Veterans, active service members, and their families and friends

I worked at GDIT/Maximus for three months shy of 8 years & all of a sudden out of the blue got blindsided and was terminated due to what they called “force in reduction”. I gave that job everything I had and was a very knowledgeable ISG agent. Not to mention mentoring new hires for 4 years in a row, at one point #1 as far as my scorecard reflected too. Then right after I buried my children’s father, I got the dreaded email requesting a meeting with the managers. Then I’m job hunting and see the same job I was just doing being recruited for. Oh yeah, I was also coming up on my 8 year anniversary with GDIT/Maximus in which they would have to honor my 3 wks of paid vacation instead of just 2 they give all employees b/c when they took over the contract from GDIT they would be required to honor the benefits I received from them regardless of your tenure & I’m sure that played a part. Then they sent me emails suggesting I apply for other contracts they had available, which would put back down to about $17/hour. After researching some more I also read where they get grants every year for their training program, which means free money for them if I were dumb enough to reapply. I ur considering applying for a role they offer be careful ??

That is a business model the whole country needs. I help the patient without knowledge by educating and directing them to the best care. I know some listen, some don’t because they cannot separate feelings from objectivity. The stong devisionnis sometimes right but statistcal variance tells us that
