CyberFirst Call for Views
The UK Government has published a Call for Views on the future of the successful CyberFirst programme, including how the programme can be scaled to inspire future talent.
CyberFirst has been created and developed by government as a high quality, National Cyber Security Centre assured, offering for young people. The programme is now established, but a new approach is needed to ensure the programme can successfully scale and maximise the available opportunities. To achieve this the programme needs to draw more on non-government partners and increase industry buy in. As such, we envisage the programme existing in a different form in future and are gathering views on what form it should take and how government and industry could best work together to support CyberFirst.
The specific aims for the Call for Views are to:
They are keen for as broad a range of interested parties as possible to engage with and respond to the call for views. They would welcome hearing perspectives from across the Northern Ireland cyber and wider digital technology ecosystem on the proposals raised and how these could work in NI.
You can submit your response to the Call for Views here . It will be open to responses until 5pm on 14 June.
