GTSC Part of 3t Unveils Newly Rebranded Abu Dhabi Training Centre
Back in September,?we announced our acquisition of Middle East-based GTSC, which is now proudly part of 3t. Through incredible hard work and dedication, our local team has unveiled our new branding and celebrated with a visit by 3t’s Board.
The rebrand reinforces 3t’s position as leaders in training and workforce development, ensuring that professionals across the region have access to cutting-edge training solutions designed to meet industry demands, particularly important in the growing and evolving Middle East.?The facility has undergone modernisations and enhancements, reinforcing our dedication to developing and investing in the region, ensuring continuous innovation in training and learning.
Scotland Office Minister Visits Our Aberdeen Training Centre
We were honoured to host Scotland Office Minister Kirsty McNeill MP at our Dyce training centre, where she saw first-hand how 3t is supporting the UK’s energy transition.
During the visit, our team highlighted our approach to training and workforce development, showcasing how we are helping Scotland build a skilled workforce to meet the country’s growing demand for clean energy professionals.
Strengthening Our Collaboration with SADA in Saudi Arabia
Our leadership team recently visited the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA) to witness the impact of our digital learning solutions in action. Through our ongoing collaboration, we’re playing a key role in enhancing the technical training of future drilling professionals.
During the visit, 3t’s VP of Global Sales Gavin Taylor, Region VP Ian Hunt, and Group Marketing & Communications Director Annabel Leckenby explored SADA’s state-of-the-art facilities and saw our Drilling Systems technology and VR learning tools being used to train the next generation. A highlight was meeting a class of female students, marking a major step forward in diversity and inclusion in the energy industry.
3t Training Services Named as Finalists in the Offshore Achievement Awards
We are proud to announce that 3t Training Services has been named a finalist in the Offshore Achievement Awards under the Skills Development category. This recognition highlights our commitment to equipping the offshore workforce with industry-leading training and career transition programmes.

GTSC Expands Training Capabilities in the Middle East
GTSC, part of 3t, has expanded its accredited training courses to support the growing workforce demands in the Middle East, showcasing 3t’s commitment to growth across the region.
With newly acquired OPITO and IADC accreditations, GTSC continues to strengthen its position as the region’s leading energy training provider. These new courses will help equip workers with essential skills while integrating advanced training technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Military2Energy Insight Day: Supporting Veterans' Transition to Energy Careers
We recently welcomed 10 leading energy employers and the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) to our North Shields training facility for our latest Military2Energy Insight Day.
The event provided Armed Forces personnel with first-hand insight into the career opportunities available in the offshore energy sector, helping them reskill and transition smoothly into long-term careers in renewables and oil & gas.
3t Drilling Systems Showcased the DS600 Lite at IKTVA Forum & Exhibition
Andreas V. Smith, Business Development Manager—MENA for 3t Drilling Systems, attended the IKTVA Forum and Exhibition, where he showcased the DS600 Lite simulator, a cutting-edge solution for drilling and well control training.
A portable version of the full-size DS600, the DS600 Lite provided visitors with a hands-on experience, demonstrating how immersive, cyberbase simulation can be deployed directly to client sites and assets, ensuring accessible and high-quality training.
?? Attendees had the opportunity to try out the DS600 Lite at SANAD’s stand in Hall 5, Booth G114, where Andreas was joined by Hani Sagr and Ian Hunt to highlight the simulator’s capabilities.
