UARC - University of Alberta Real Estate Club Mentor: Ariya Likitwattanaviboon

Ariya is a third-year student majoring in Finance and pursuing a certificate in Real Estate. Over the past summer, she has spent time working as Private Banking Associate at RBC and currently is RBC Student Ambassador at the University of Alberta. She has a strong interest in Real Estate and is an active member of Edmonton CREW, where she gains expertise from female professionals in the Commercial Real Estate market. Currently, she is also an Event Associate at the University of Alberta Real Estate Club.

Industry Mentor: Kimberlie Garraway for Team ONE Properties

Kimberlie brings over 25 years of industry experience, working from the perspective of an owner, asset manager, third-party manager and tenant across Canada. Prior to joining ONE Properties, Kimberlie worked in property and asset management for institutional and private equity landlords and an international third-party property management company focusing on industrial and commercial real estate. She also gained valuable experience as a retail tenant, overseeing real estate operations for a national grocery chain. Since joining ONE Properties in 2015, Kimberlie has been instrumental in the continued growth of the property management portfolio, which has seen commercial assets under management grow from 7 million square feet to 16 million square feet in the past five years. In 2020, she also led the launch the Multi-Family Property Management platform.

We officially kicked off our Spring 2024 cohort in Calgary! We were thrilled to meet our first cohort of scholars in Calgary, as well as our industry mentors. There was a bit of a snowstorm in Calgary last weekend, but some of our scholars and mentors trekked through the snow to make to the Ampersand.
