ISSNAF Stories: a video interview with Prof. Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli, UC Berkeley
This year ISSNAF celebrates the 15th anniversary since its foundation in 2007; on this occasion, our most active members share their testimonials in this new series: ISSNAF Stories.
Prof. Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli, Prof. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California at Berkeley, tells about when, in 1977, he proclaimed he is not a cervello in fuga but a cervello that goes back [to Italy] (he's still in Berkeley), on how his true job is to be an academic professor (while co-founding two multi billion companies). Alberto talks about his connections and activities with Italy (and on how Italian laws make that difficult), about the beginning of ISSNAF (of which he is a founder), and finally gives some useful advice to young Italians scholars moving to North America.
Enjoy!
