When a Gulf Coast refinery faced challenges with its 600-pound steam system.?The customer?contacted?ISS for a viable solution. Our?Hot tapping/Line stop service line developed and executed a meticulous plan involving two 16x12 High pressure/High-temperature line stops with 2-12” pivot head stops as backups?for a double block-n-bleed?to ensure maximum safety and performance.?

Once the?HTP?stops were installed, the customer successfully completed the blowdown process, allowing the lines to bleed down. Our?line stop technicians then set the pivot headline stops, providing a 100% block; these?line stops remained in place for three weeks without leaking.
