In the early morning in the Negev Desert kibbutz Rem one year ago, celebrators lost in the energetic trance music at the Supernova festival the night before had not yet ended.

?Around 3,000 attendees had gathered for what was?supposed to be a celebration of life and music, after the start, chaos erupted as Hamas unleashed a flow of rockets from Gaza raining upon southern Israel.

?The Supernova festival became the target of one of the deadliest militant attacks in the nation’s history.

?At least 370 people lost their lives in the attack on the Nova rave, making it the deadliest scene of that fateful day.

Israeli officials said Hamas's October 7th attack was the most?lethal day for Jews since the Holocaust, with its militants killing 1,200 people and taking a further 250 hostages.?

On 27th September 2024, Hezbollah leader Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was?killed after the Israeli military said it had eliminated him in an airstrike in Beirut the day before.

His death marks a shocking blow to Hezbollah as it reels from an escalating campaign of Israeli attack.

It is also a?huge blow to Iran as a?major role he has played in the Tehran-backed regional “Axis of Resistance.”

The Israeli military said previously that Hassan Nasrallah was eliminated in a “targeted strike” on Friday on the group's underground headquarters below a residential building in Dahiyeh, a controlled southern suburb of Beirut.?

A security source in Lebanon said the attack, a quick succession of massively powerful blasts, had left a carter at least 20 meters (65 feet) deep.

The White House said in the statement that “Hassan Nasrallah and the terrorist group he led, Hezbollah, were responsible for killing hundreds of Americans over four decades of?the?reign of terror.”?

?Benjamin Netanyahu tried to paint Iran as the main source of the conflict in the Middle East and displayed two maps, showing a group of countries as “the curse” and a?group as “the blessing.”.

Remarkably, both maps showed Palestinian territories—the West Bank and Gaza as part of Israel.

The map on Netanyahu's right hand showed Iraq, Syria, and Yemen painted in black, terming them “The Curse."

In his left hand, the map showed Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and India painted in green. These countries were termed “The Blessing.”.

The Golan Heights region in Syria was also shown as part of Israel.

Holding the maps, Netanyahu said the world must choose between a “blessing” And a?“curse” as the Middle East crisis increased with Israel carrying heavy bombardments on Hezbollah's stronghold in Lebanon

?In a blistering speech, Netanyahu said, “I have a message for Tehran, if you strike us, we will strike you”

He added, “There is no place in Iran that the long arm Israel cannot reach, and that’s true of the entire Middle East”

?Netanyahu also had a caution for Palestine, as he described Israel as a peace-seeking nation. “Palestine must stop spewing Jew-hatred and finally reconcile themselves to the Jewish State.

Khamenei Friday Sermon

?After five years, Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led Friday prayers and sent a rare address after Tehran launched around 200 missiles on Israel within rising tension in the?Middle East.

?But Khamenei, then President, had survived a suicide attack while carrying a sermon in 1985 and resumed his speech after pausing for three minutes.

On Friday, Khamenei, who holds the highest authority as the Supreme Leader in Iran, led Muslims in prayer at the Iman Khomeini Grand Mosalla mosque in central Teheran.

?Khamenei spoke with a rifle by his side, a common practice in Iran for Shiite Muslim imams leading Friday prayers, meant to signal preparedness to face an enemy.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Israel "won't last long" as he backed the Palestinian and Lebanese movements against Israel.

Khamenei of the missile fire, Iran's second-ever direct attack on US-backed Israel. And said, What our armed forces did was the minimum punishment for the crimes of the usurping Zionist regime," ?

Khamenei is?the supreme leader who holds the highest authority in Iran.


His sermon comes just three days after Iran launched 180 missiles targeting crucial infrastructure in Israel and three days before the first anniversary of the Israel-Gaza war.

On Monday inside the White House, to honour the victims of Hamas’ deadly October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks on Israel.


The 81-year-old president and Jill Biden stood in silence as a rabbi chanted a prayer for the dead before Biden lit a single candlelight in memory of those killed.

?On Monday, the anniversary of the attack, it took on that role once again, as students and faculty held rallies, class walkouts, and vigils to mourn the lives lost in both Israel and Gaza.

Campus gates and requiring students, faculty, and staff to show up to enter. So far this school year, the atmosphere?has been calmer, but many students and faculty say tensions?are physical.
