One of the most striking findings from the map is the significant growth in the number of startups in the Artificial Intelligence and Sensors & Data Analytics sectors. With an 81.5% increase in AI startups and a whopping 150% increase in Sensors & Data Analytics startups, it's clear that these areas are at the forefront of innovation in Industry 4.0.
Another notable trend is the rise in energy and sustainability startups, thanks in part to the inclusion of a new category for these companies. This highlights the growing importance of environmentally-friendly technologies in the industry, as companies look for ways to reduce their impact on the planet.
The map also includes information on exits and acquisitions, with 14 startups successfully making their way to the exit ramp. One of the most notable exits was NanoFabrica, an Additive Manufacturing startup that was acquired by Nano Dimension for $59.4 million.

The overall trend in all categories has been a rise in start-ups. The number of energy start-ups has increased mainly due to recategorization to Energy & Sustainability where companies from Sustainability moved into energy due to their nature.
There are 294 start-ups listed. The majority of Industry 4.0 start-ups in Israel are in the Artificial Intelligence (36%) and IOT platform (18.4%). The distribution is as such since many Industry 4.0 companies tend to work with AI and IOT systems, regardless of the sector they are operating in.? The sector that grew significantly would be Sensors & Data analytics and AI, by 150% and 81.5% respectively.
