ISO 20022 can be adopted as standardized messaging protocol for Digital Asset Transactions- Bank for International Settlements

United States' FRFS has announced that it will adopt the ISO 20022 message format for the Fedwire Funds Service in a single-day implementation strategy on March 10, 2025.

Bank for International Settlements – BIS acknowledges that ISO 20022 can be adopted as standardized messaging protocol for Digital Asset Transactions.

Digital assets that have adopted the ISO 20022 standard include XRP, Cardano, Quant, Algorand, Stellar, Hedera HashGraph, IOTA, and XDC Network.

To accelerate global adoption, all digital assets should adopt ISO 20022 .
