What can satisfy an employee? of course, not all of us are money driven. Some also want to see the big picture. Be satisfied by being part of something big which impacts human life directly. They are like a Drug addict, always want more.
Despite all those fancy articles about Employee Performance enhancement & Managerial Skills which are roaming around on the Internet. Every good employee knows, that Job is literally a stage to perform, A place to experiment their Skills. So, why you find them on time for work in the morning, just like a modern slave.
But, what if the company fails to give back? If money is the first thing comes in your mind for this question, Sorry to say that you gonna make a bad boss. And the smile you have on your face now confirms that you taught about money.
A Class C or D Employee will limit himself to settle for a Small Raise in his wage. But the manager has to take the responsibility of seeing the big picture for his subordinates.
What an employee gives his company is Quiet visible at the end of every Quarter. And soon be forgotten before the next Quarter. But what a company gives back is expected to reflect on the employees personal & Professional life. After all being an entrepreneur is not only about making money, you also got a Social Responsibility.
