IT ISN'T EASY TO MAKE IT.. AND WE MAKE IT THAT WAY.

IT ISN'T EASY TO MAKE IT.. AND WE MAKE IT THAT WAY.

10,000hrs. they say. 10,000hrs. to be great at something. These days it seems we are going to have a lot of people that are really great at Facebook, instagram, and snapchat.

But luckily- greatness also takes a certain amount of God-Given talent. Everybody has some talent- it is just a matter of if you have explored yourself enough to deploy that talent- and put your talent/ art/ message and craft into the world.

The one thing that drives me crazy is when you see the talent people have, and they have not realized it within themselves.

We all know people like this. Fear inhibits them, a lack of self worth and awareness inhibits them, a previous relationship or experience has left them paralyzed and settling for the status quo.

Why? Why would you let talent, greatness, and natural ability die?

When you deploy your natural talent and ability, resistance dies. The fight becomes fun and exciting rather than arduous. Skiing down hill instead of up.

For many life has become an uphill skiing competition- and they never truly realized they can turn their skis the other way.

AROD would always say, "Talent is the ultimate equalizer- and thank God I was born with a lot of it.... but it was working my talent that kept me here."... how cool is that?

He found his gift, pursued it, and then worked hard to make it even better. Polishing the stone and creating a clear diamond.

This message is about realizing your talents and what comes naturally easy for you. Don't over- think it. Don't ponder, "How will I make money doing this?".. just write down all the things that come easy for you. Ask people that know you-"Where do I excel?".. you will be amazed at what you hear.

LESSON: DON'T EVER GET STUCK AT, OR STAY AT, OR DO A JOB YOU HATE BECAUSE YOU HAVE JUSTIFIED IT FOR THE MONEY. FOLLOW YOUR PASSION AND USE YOUR GIFTS.

But in life, to many of us end up choosing careers for the wrong reason, allow peer pressure and family pressure to drive decisions and habits, and we are never able to deploy our gifts and talents-- for many we bury them with convincing arguments- almost as if we are trying to lose and forget about the superpowers that will transcend us to a whole new place.

Many of us allow the pressures of a parent to drive us ofter times in the wrong directions-- away from our flow zone.

Use the gifts. If you have stress, anxiety, fatigue, or mental burnout-- it is probably because your ski tips are in the wrong direction...flip your script- deploy the talent and make a career doing it... or better yet a life. #trainlikeapro
