This isn’t business as usual, and it’s a time of great stress and uncertainty. It’s also a moment in time when the work we’re doing is its most critical.

In the current situation, it is vital to stay digitally connected – connected to your customers, your employees, and your communities. We’ve often asked ourselves, what are they experiencing, and how can they best be supported? Your feedback is essential to chart the right course to ensure you receive everything you need. I can assure you that here at Nordens, we have the infrastructure and processes in place to help you stay connected through this challenging time.

This feedback has in turn, helped us to become better accountants and advisors and lifted our spirits. Twice a week we have a Nordens Family video call where we discuss the latest accounting updates and encourage each other with all of our clients beautiful stories of triumph no matter how small. It’s lovely to recognise that we are making a difference for our clients and hear the pride in our staff members voices as they relay the effort that was put in to make success happen. The purpose is to let everyone know that we are together as a firm and our main objective is to help as many business owners as possible.

Before you think of us as just accountants, think of us as your business team mates or partners. As I have said many times, teamwork is the key to overcoming the obstacles COVID-19 has placed before us. By coming together as a team, we are getting through this together and will come back stronger as a community, ensuring a successful future for your business.
