Today, Saturday, July 6, 2024, marks 273 days since the war on the Gaza Strip began. The Israeli war machine continues to kill innocent Palestinian civilians, with the death toll reaching 38,011 and the number of injured at 87,445. Reports from Gaza indicate a large number of victims remain under rubble and in the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the ongoing aggression.

The Gaza Strip is also suffering from a severe shortage of food, reaching famine levels in some areas such as northern Gaza, with aid being blocked from entering through the Rafah crossings.

The Israeli army has destroyed all agricultural areas, set fire to aid warehouses, and sometimes destroyed them with heavy bulldozers. The healthcare system is similarly affected, with hospitals facing a severe shortage of basic medicines and a critical lack of fuel needed to operate generators.

The health system in Gaza is in a catastrophic state, with over 70% of treatment centers out of service, and patients and the injured in desperate need of urgent medical attention.

Regarding medical personnel, around 500 healthcare workers have been killed, over 310 others have been arrested by Israeli occupation forces, hundreds have been injured, and approximately 130 ambulances have been destroyed.

Recent statistics confirm that Israel kills four children every hour in the Gaza Strip, who constitute 44% of the ongoing war’s total victims. Approximately 49,000 children are living without one or both parents due to the continuous aggression in the Gaza Strip.
