 Way up high 

Islands in the sky

The Tepui reigns supreme 

Table top mountains 

Both formidable and serene 

The house of gods 

Where waterfalls plunge down to the canopies below

The sights and the sounds are spectacular 

With this heavenly show 

Drifting clouds the only company so high in the sky

Unless you are graced with eagles wings and the ability to fly

A U.S. aviator landed here in the mid twentieth century

One of the 1st to survey the terrain from his planes moving scene 

Admiring the beauty and significance of this wondrous display

The waterfall was named after him and lives on to this day

Angel falls after Jimmie Angel which gave him great acclaim 

When he died

His ashes were scattered over the falls just like falling rain

His legacy lives on and many still visit this land

Mesmerised by the beauty of mother natures hand

Intimidating as it rises to join the divines plain 

Your mind and spirit free to wander and to dream away

A place of flora and fauna

Preserved - untouched by time 

Floating Islands in the sky - truly mesmerising and sublime xx
