Islamophobia-: Past-Present-Future !

intersection of anti-Muslim sentiment within politics, culture, and gender. We are at a crossroads in how Muslims are portrayed in the media. We see it institutionally, now more than ever, where Islamophobia prevails in policies and legislation coming from this administration.

Why this situation is now felt:

If we examine why Allah created us in this world:

51:56-I have only created jinns and men that they may serve Me. 5032

Our progress depends upon our putting ourselves into accord with His Will. THIS IS HIS SERVICE. (But we are continuing to fail in this regard and getting deprived of all Benefits.)

10:3-Verily your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority) regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not celebrate His praises?

10:4-To Him will be your return of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of Creation and repeateth it that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness but those who reject Him will have nothing but draughts of boiling fluids and a Penalty grievous: because they did reject Him.

And God said to the angels:

“‘Verily, I am going to place mankind generations after generations on earth.’ They said: ‘Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You.’ God said: ‘I know that which you do not know.’” (Quran2:30)

7:23- They said: "our Lord! we have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy mercy we shall certainly be lost."

Shaytan is an open enemy unto you'') (23. They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.'')

24. (Allah) said: "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.'') (25. He said: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (resurrected).'')

God honoured the first humman, Adam, in countless ways. Allah blew his soul into him, He fashioned him with His own hands and He ordered the Angels to bow down before him. And God said to the Angels:

“..Prostrate to Adam and they prostrated except Iblees (Satan)..” (Quran:7:11) So begins the story of Adam, the first man, the first human being.

The descendants of Adam were destined to be as diverse as the handful of soil from which their ancestor was created; all have different appearances, attributes and qualities.

Adam, the Caretaker: God told mankind that He did not create them except that they should worship Him.

Everything in this world was created for Adam and his descendants, in order to aid us in our ability to worship and know God. Due to God’s infinite Wisdom, Adam and his descendants were to be the caretakers on earth, so God taught Adam what he needed to know to perform this duty. God mentions: “He taught Adam all the names of everything.” (Quran 2:31)

Adam’s First Four Children

Adam and Eve’s first children, Cain and his sister, were twins,; Abel and his sister, another set of twins, soon followed. Adam and his family lived in peace and harmony. Cain ploughed the earth while Abel raised livestock. Time passed and the occasion came for the sons of Adam to marry. A group of the companions of Prophet Muhammad (sal) including Ibn Abbas and Ibn Masud related that inter-marriage of the male of one pregnancy with the female of another had been the practice among Adam’s children. Therefore we know that God’s plan to fill the earth included each o Adam’s sons marrying the twin sister of the other.

The First Murder

“So the self (base desires) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.” (Quran 5:30)

Prophet Muhammad (sal) informed us that Cain became angry and hit his brother over the head with a piece of iron. It was also said in another narration that Cain hit Abel over the head while he was sleeping.

“God sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: ‘Woe to me!

Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?’ Then he became one of those who regretted.” (Quran 5:3

Adam’s Death

All of mankind are the children of Adam. In one narration, the Prophet Muhammad (sal) informed us that God showed Adam his descendants. Adam saw a beautiful light in Prophet David’s eyes and loved him, so he turned to God and said: “Oh God. Give him forty years from my life.” God granted Adam his request, and it was written down and sealed.

Adam’s life span was supposed to be 1000 years but after 960 years the Angel of death came to Adam. Adam was surprised and said “but I still have 40 years to live”. The angel of death reminded him of his gift of 40 years to his beloved descendant Prophet David, but Adam denied it. Many, many years later, the last Prophet Muhammad said: “Adam denied so the children of Adam deny, Adam forgot and his children forget; Adam made mistakes and his children make mistakes.” (At-Tirmidhi)

Adam appointed as his successor his son Seth.

“O Mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam) and from Him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women.” (Quran 4:1)

Prophets after Seth: Idris, Nuh etc., Finally Prophet Muhammad (sal) Total of 124,000 prophets.

Punishments:

65:8 - How many populations that insolently opposed the command of their Lord and of His apostles did We not then call to account to severe account? And We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment. 5521

Insolent impiety consists not only in the breach of the rites of religion. Even more vital is the defiance of the laws of nature which Allah has made for us. These laws, for us human beings include those which relate to our fellow-beings in society to whom kindness and consideration form the basis of our social duties. Our duties to our families and our children in intimate matters such as were spoken of in the last Section, are as important as any in our spiritual life. Peoples who forgot the moral law in marriage or family life perished in this world and will have no future in the Hereafter. The lessons apply not only to individuals but to whole nations or social groups. (65.8)
65:10 - Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah O ye men of understanding who have believed! for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message 5524
5524 There is no excuse for us to go astray, seeing that Allah in His infinite Mercy has explained to us His Message by His many Signs around us and clearly by means of the human Teachers and Messengers whom He has sent for our instruction:
7:59 -We sent Noah to his people. .7:64 - But they rejected him and we delivered him and those with him in the ark: But We overwhelmed in the Flood those who rejected our signs. They were indeed a blind people!
7:65 - To the Ad people (We sent) Hud - 69:6 - And the `Ad they were destroyed by a FURIOUS WIND exceedingly violent; 69:7 - He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: …..
7:73 - To the Thamud people (We sent) Saleh: 7:78 - So the EARTHQUAKE TOOK them unawares…..
7:80 - We also (sent) Lut…..: 7:84 - And We rained DOWN ON THEM A SHOWER (OF BRIMSTONES):
7:85 - To the Madyan people We sent Shu’aib 7:91 - But the EARTHQUAKE TOOK THEM UNAWARES
7:103 - Then after them We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh ….7:130 - We punished the people of Pharaoh with years (of drought) and shortness of crops; that they might receive admonition.
7:133 - So We sent (plagues) on them Wholesale death Locusts Lice Frogs and Blood: signs openly Self-explained; but they were steeped in arrogance a people given to sin.
7:166 - …..We said to them: “Be ye apes despised and rejected.” 7:136 - So We exacted retribution from them: WE DROWNED THEM in the sea because they rejected Our signs …..(See: 7:97- 7:98 - 7:99 )
7:101 - Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: there came indeed to them their Apostles with clear (signs): but they would not believe what they had rejected before.Thus doth Allah seal up the heart of those who reject faith. 1070
7:102 - Most of them We found not men (true) to their covenant but most of them We found rebellious and disobedient.
6:69 - On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous but (their duty) is to remind them that they may (learn to) fear Allah.
892 - “Evil to him who evil thinks,” or evil does. Every man is responsible for his own conduct. But the righteous have two duties:

to protect themselves from infection, and
to proclaim Allah’s truth, for even in the most unlikely circumstances, it is possible that it may have some effect.
51:11- Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 4996-They are in great spiritual danger: yet they care not. !
SEE: 65:2 - And for those who fear Allah He (ever) prepares a way out. 65:4 - and for those who fear Allah He will make their path easy. 65:5 if anyone fears Allah He will remove his ills from him and will enlarge His reward. 65:7 - After a difficulty Allah will soon grant relief.
6147 xxx that man's success or failure, prosperity or bankruptcy, would depend upon his keeping that soul pure or his corrupting it. (91.1)
For keeping that soul pure………….AHLUS SUNNAH WAL-JAMA’AH - adherence to the Book (Quran) and Sunnah is the only RIGHT WAY for ultimate Success.!
64:11-No kind of calamity can occur except by the leave of Allah: and if anyone believes in Allah (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things.

Hadith 4721 Narrated by
Uqbah ibn Amir
: The Hour shall come only when the worst type of people are left on the earth. They will be worse than the people of pre-Islamic days. They will receive whatever they ask of Allah. : A group of people from my Ummah will continue to fight in obedience to the Command of Allah, remaining dominant over their enemies. Those who oppose them shall not do them any harm. They will remain in this condition until the Hour overtakes them. Then Allah will raise a wind which will be fragrant like musk and whose touch will be like the touch of silk; (but) it will cause the death of all (faithful) persons, not leaving behind a single person with an iota of faith in his heart. Then only the worst of men will remain to be overwhelmed by the Hour.
4:79-Whatever good (O man!) happens to thee is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee is from thy (own) soul. And We have sent thee as an Apostle to (instruct) mankind: and enough is Allah for a witness. 598
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Allah does not take away the knowledge, by taking it away from (the hearts of) the people, but takes it away by the death of the religious learned men till when none of the (religious learned men) remains, people will take as their leaders ignorant persons who when consulted will give their verdict without knowledge. So they will go astray and will lead the people astray."}\par}

Sunan of Abu-Dawoodb Hadith 4329

When we were around the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him), he mentioned the period of commotion (fitnah) saying: When you see the people that their covenants have been impaired, (the fulfilling of) the guarantees becomes rare, and they become thus (interwining his fingers).
I then got up and said: What should I do at that time, may Allah make me ransom for you? He replied: Keep to your house, control your tongue, accept what you approve, abandon what you disapprove, attend to your own affairs, and leave alone the affairs of the generality.}
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 4251
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There will be civil strife (fitnah) which will render people deaf, dumb and blind regarding what is right. Those who contemplate it will be drawn by it, and giving rein to the tongue during it will be like smiting with the sword.
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hudhayfah}
The tradition mentioned above (No. 4232) has also been transmitted through a different chain of narrators by Nasr ibn Asim al-Laythi who said: We came to al-Yashkuri with a group of the people of Banu Layth. He asked: Who are these people? We replied: Banu Layth. We have come to you to ask you about the tradition of Hudhayfah. He then mentioned the tradition and said: I asked: Apostle of Allah, will there be evil after this good? He replied: There will be trial (fitnah) and evil. I asked: Apostle of Allah, will there be good after this evil? He replied: Learn the Book of Allah, Hudhayfah, and adhere to its contents. He said it three times. I asked: Apostle of Allah, will there be good after this evil? He replied: An illusory truce and a community with specks in its eye. I asked: Apostle of Allah, what do you mean by an illusory community? He replied: The hearts of the people will not return to their former condition. I asked: Apostle of Allah, will there be evil after this good? He replied: There will be wrong belief which will blind and deafen men to the truth in which there will be summoners at the gates of Hell. If you, Hudhayfah, die adhering to a stump, it will be better for you than following any of them.

Hudhaifa bin Al Yaman
"There will be some people who will lead (people) according to principles other than my tradition. You will see their actions and disapprove of them." I said, "Will there be any evil after that good?" He said, "Yes, there will be some people who will invite others to the doors of Hell, and whoever accepts their invitation to it will be thrown in it (by them)." I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Describe those people to us." He said, "They will belong to us and speak our language." I asked, "What do you order me to do if such a thing should take place in my life?" He said, "Adhere to the group of Muslims and their Chief." I asked, "If there is neither a group (of Muslims) nor a chief (what shall I do)?" He said, "Keep away from all those different sects, even if you had to bite (i.e. eat) the root of a tree, till you meet Allah while you are still in that state."

Certainly, we have gone astray. Arrogance among Muslims.73 Sects are flourishing.

Hadith 1.98 Narrated by

Abu Huraira

…..And 'Umar bin 'Abdul 'Aziz wrote to Abu Bakr bin Hazm, "Look for the knowledge of Hadith and get it written, as I am afraid that religious knowledge will vanish and the religious learned men will pass away (die). Do not accept anything save the Hadiths of the Prophet. Circulate knowledge and teach the ignorant, for knowledge does not vanish except when it is kept secretly (to oneself)."

7:99 - Did they then fell secure against the plan of Allah? But no one can feel secure from the plan of Allah except those (doomed) to ruin! 1068

1068 This closes that chapter of the narrative which deals with Prophets who were rejected by their own people, but who stood firm on Allah's message and were able to rescue a remnant who believed. In each case there were special circumstances and special besetting sins, which have been explained in the notes. The nations which as a body could not be won over to Allah's Law perished. So far we have been dealing with the corruptions and iniquities within each nation. In the story of Moses we have first a struggle against the bondage of Egypt, one of the foremost powers then in the world, the rescue of the Israelites and their wanderings, and their proving themselves unworthy and being left to wander in a new sense when they rejected the new Prophet (Muhammad) who came to renew Allah's Message. (7.99)

4."Knowledge of Islam will be taken away while ignorance will increase. This removal of knowledge will be because old scholars will die and fewer and fewer new scholars will replace them. The leaders of the Muslims will be chosen from ignorant people, and they will rule according to their whims." [Today, studying Islam formally is considered to be an inferior career in most of the Muslim world. The leaders of the Muslim world are more known for their political or military prowess (oppressive ability?) than Islamic knowledge.]

52:11 - Then woe that Day to those that treat (truth) as Falsehood 5045

1). the rebels against Allah and Allah's Truth, just as it will be a Day of Joy and Thanksgiving to the Righteous,

( 2) those who openly defied Truth and plunged into wrong-doing,

(3) or who trifled with truth,

(4) who jested with serious matters, who had not the courage to plunge openly into wrong-doing but who secretly took profit out of it, who wasted their life in doubts and petty quibbles.

Biographies of Companions

Ubayy ibn Kab

One of Ubayy's major fears for the Muslim ummah was that a day would come when there would be severe strife among Muslims. He often became overwhelmed with emotion when he read or heard the verse of the Quran." "Say: He (Allah) has power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance, each from the other."

.6:69 - On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous but (their duty) is to remind them that they may (learn to) fear Allah.

Beware ! - 7 Prevailing Signs Of The Age Of Fitnah (Trial or unrest)

The reason behind appointment of Prophets among nations over the course of earth history by Allah SWT had always been for accomplishment of essential goals. These include believing in One God, obeying all of His Messengers and taking life in this world as temporary and prepare for the Judgment Day. The Holy Prophet ? of the Almighty Lord was sent to be a Role Model in all matters for entire mankind and till the end of the world.

“And, We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know.” [Quran, 34: 28]

It means that Rasulullah ? was directed to give good news to the believers in the shape of attaining Jannah (Paradise) and bad news to those who disobey commandment of the Creator of the universe in the form of entering Hell. Although the exact instant of occurrence of Qayamah (the Last Hour) is only known to Allah SWT but it was important for the Apostle ? of God to let His Ummah (Followers) know about the time of great despair and misery in terms of avoidance of Allah`s Instructions in era near to prevailing of the Last Day.

The Worst Fitnah Before The Dajjaal

*The prophet (saws) said during fitnah, people should avoid the general affairs of the public and He advised specifically not to go out and participate in any wars or so called Jihad’s during this period of time, He repeated it a number of time’s saying, cut your bow strings, break your swords, crush their blades, get rid of your weapons, don’t respond to anyone making the call to Jihad because the dead will be in Hell if they respond to Jihad.

This is because the callers to Jihad during this time will be liars, the cause’s people will be fighting for will be manipulated and there will be much deception, “They will be assuming they have a (legitimate) cause, but they will not have a (legitimate) cause”, they will lie to them asking them to commit suicide, “their dead will be in hell”, and to kill civilians and the innocent, fighting a situation that can’t be changed because the prophet (saws) told us it’s outcome.

The Arab world is not going to respond to them even if these groups had won every war in the region, the Arabs are now a people who Allah has passed judgment on already, can anyone avert Allah’s punishments from a people. To drive this point home the prophet (saws) repeated this very point to us in a number of Ahadith because He (saws) knew how the Arabs will behave in our life time, so we shouldn’t wonder if the outcome will ever be something else.

The Army of the Mahdi (ra), the black flags will march from the east, they will conquer all of Arabia and even Israel, they will then demand the Arabs return to Islam but the Arabs will refuse even them, while the prophet (saws) clearly said we should respond to them and their call to jihad even if we have to crawl over ice to get to them, so what hope does a small fringe group fighting a false Jihad have of changing that situation, the fact is they are fake and that isn’t their aim at all. Allah has decreed “the destruction of the Kings and the Humiliation of the Arabs” and nothing can avert it.

Jabir ibn Samurah said, “I heard the Prophet say, ‘Just before the Hour there will be many liars.’” Jabir said, “Be on your guard against them.” (Muslim).

Abu Hurayrah said, “The Prophet said, ‘There will be “Dajjaals” and liars among my Ummah (literally lessor “Antichrists” and great liars). They will tell you something new, which neither you nor your forefathers have heard. Be on your guard against them, and do not let them lead you astray.’” (Ahmad)

The wars during this time will be nothing than a front for foreign governments and their media outlets, this is why we see these small terrorist groups go into a country disrupt whatever unity the people have, only to be later followed by the Invasion of a foreign power wishing to dominate that people, this most certainly will be the case in Syria as the prophet (saws) already mentioned it, sanctions will be placed on it just as they were placed on Iraq, but this time it will be Europe doing this.

The prophet’s (saws) words “their dead are in Hell” can only be a judgment on an act that person involves himself in which is equal to this kind of punishment by Allah, because He is not unjust, and during this time we saw a new type of warfare in Islamic war being utilized and manipulated, they came with false Ijtihad (new legal ruling’s) by fake scholar’s to justify it, “They will tell you something new, which neither you nor your forefathers have heard. Be on your guard against them, and do not let them lead you astray”.

This new thing is the act of suicide bombing, it was the one thing the Ummah was severely attacked and criticized over, many people responded to the call of these people only to be fooled into attacking civilian targets like we saw in Iraq and other Muslim countries, these people were manipulated for the sake of politics and a cause that lead to nothing Islamic, only those manipulating public affairs on a greater scale than the common soldier could perceive benefit from the situation.

The act of suicide is the only act that will take a person directly to hell, if you commit murder there is still a chance for tawba (repentance) in life, but not suicide it’s consequences are immediate, and this is exactly as the prophet (saws) described, the dead during this time of fitnah were those who went out to war and became suicide bombers, they attacked civilians, shopping centres and people not involved in any war. A person who commits normal suicide will go directly to hell, so then what of a person who commits suicide to kill innocent people not involved in war, these murderers have ended their own life so their fate is sealed by their own hands.

The destruction of the Arabs shouldn’t be looked at in isolation because this hadith was telling us about the punishment Allah was enacting on the larger muslim world to prepare it for what is coming, while the bombardment was referring to Arab lands, the earthquakes were referring to Pakistan, Turkey and the coastal regions of Indonesia and Malaysia and the most corrupt regions in these lands, they were entirely dominated by alcohol and prostitution. Malaysia itself built the pertains towers, it was literally a sign of the hour as they joined the race to build tall buildings, even ahead of the Arabs, Pakistan is known for its corruption and Turkey a now secular country is itself the subject of numerous Ahadith during the time of the Mahdi (ra), when He emerges He will need to re-conquer it because they will not respond to his call for Jihad, seven months after He (ra) does the Dajjaal (Allah’s curse be upon him) will emerge so what time is left for them before the end ?

About our time the Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “No! You’d be as great in quantity as the foam of the sea is, seen wherever the eye can reach. But you’ll be overtaken by ‘wahn’.” The Sahabah asked, “O Prophet of Allah! What is ‘wahn’?” He replied: “Love of this world and fear of death!”

Unless Allah does something to shake this situation up, the Muslim world will not take responsibility for what needs to be done, this is why Allah is punishing the muslim world to prepare it for fitnah’s that are far worse than these wars, the Last Great War with the Mahdi (ra) and the trial of the Dajjaal (Allah’s curse be upon him) described as the worst trial this world will face since the time of Adam (as), He is purifying the Arabs of the people among them who adopted Sihr (Dark Magic), Maskh and secularism just like He did with the prophet Nuh (as) killing all the wicked so those better than them can be Allah’s Khalifah on earth.

Abu Hurairah related that the Messenger of Allah said, “There will be a trial that is Sammaa (people during the trial will not listen to the truth or to advice), Bakmaa (during it, no one will speak the truth), Amyaa (people will become blinded, not seeing matters clearly). Whoever seeks it out, the trial seeks him out and attracts him. The effect of the tongue during it is more severe than the effect of the sword.” (Abu Dawwud)

Suicide bombing was the major issue this Ummah was criticized and attacked over in the past decade, while muslims during this time should have been like a fixture in their own home not being involved in the general affairs of people, and we have seen from the example of ISIS, how false groups can be set up to recruit naive people who are not educated and then manipulated through sophisticated methods.

Had a single one of these groups in reality been following the madhhabs, Islam’s schools of Law which the main body of muslims follow, this would not have occurred because not a single school of Law, after investigating the permissibility of suicide bombings permitted it as an act, only those calling to new ideologies that neither they or their fathers had heard before permitted all things during war, this wasn’t religion in the end it was a method.

The Prophet (saws) said, “There will be “Dajjaals” and liars among my Ummah. They will tell you something new, which neither you nor your forefathers have heard. Be on your guard against them, and do not let them lead you astray.”

Suicide bombing is entirely modern and the Fiqh (legality) regarding it required new Ijtihad (jurisprudential reasoning) while the door of Ijtihad (jurisprudential reasoning) had been closed for hundreds of years in Islam, no one was permitted to carry it out because people could no longer reach the degree of qualifications required for it.

Imam Ibn Kathir said the Messenger of Allah (saws) intimated that a destructive fitnah will occur in or time and safety from it is achieved by staying far away from it and from the ways that lead to it, he then related the following hadith;

The prophet (saws) said “There will be a tribulation in which a man will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever by evening, except the one to whom Allah grants Knowledge.” (Ibn Maaja, Vol1, Book 36, Hadith 3954)

When Looking for verses in the Quran to recite or to use in Taweez to protect ourself from the fitna of our time, we should use the above two verses as well as the verses regarding Yajuj wa Majuj, “I will erect a barrier between you and them”(18:95) along with Surah al Kahf (chapter 18 the Cave), the prophet (saws) said the verses in surah al Maidah (5) and chapter 18 (al Kahf) will protect us nearing the end of time, the time when these Major events and signs of the hour will occur, we should Acquire knowledge during this time and we should be staying at home.

The following Dua it probably the single most important dua for our time, it removes stress, worry and anxiety because of the parts of the body it mentions and works on, but more importantly it breaks a type of sihr that is used to manipulate man, control his sense of direction, and the direction he is headed towards in life. If one can’t remember it all we should make a smaller dua mentioning the Nasiya (forehead) at least because the Jinn target this area to control man, it is the part of the brain that gives man his sense of direction and judgment as Allah mentioned in the Quran, the Jinn (and people) will do sihr on the part of the body responsible for specific actions in man to influence him through it, these dua counter that.

Transliteration: Allaahumma ‘innee ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu ‘amatika, naasiyatee biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukmuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadhaa’uka, ‘as’aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, ‘aw ‘anzaltahu fee kitaabika, ‘aw ‘allamtahu ‘ahadan min khalqika, ‘awista’tharta bihi fee ‘ilmil-ghaybi ‘indaka, ‘an taj’alal-Qur’aana rabee’a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jalaa’a huznee, wa thahaaba hammee.

The prophet (saws) said “O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. you have control over me). Your Judgment upon me is assured and Your Decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.” (Ahmad)

We should also recite the last part of Surah al Alaq (96) where Allah mentions the things the Nasiya (Forehead) is used for against man to stop him from worship and being aware of Allah;

96:18] We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)!

[96:19] Day, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)!

“HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent a servant [of God] from praying?, Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way (his sense of direction in life), or is concerned with God-consciousness? (Capable of awareness) Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? (What muslims are being asked to do today), Does he, then, not know that God sees [all]? (Perfecting this understanding is Human perfection, but they want the opposite for us) Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead (Nasiya) the lying, rebellious forehead! (This is it’s role in sin and moving away from Allah, so it is the part that is punished) (96:9-16)

If we are afflicted with anything especially a spiritual attack reading the part of the Quran that mentions anything to do with it works against it’s effects, this is the basis for dua, ruqyah and using the Quran to help man. Mankind is deliberately being fooled and given a wrong direction in life these verses counter that.

What is happening in the world today is leading to the Major Signs of the Hour and these verses will help us avoid being involved in the events and fitna’s that will take us to them, just like surah al Kahf we should be building our own Kahf (cave), making our home a fortress, to protect ourselves.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah ? said: ‘When any one of you says Tashahhud, let him seek refuge with Allah from four things, and say: “Allahumma inni a’oodhi bika min ‘adhaab jahannam wa min ‘adhaab al-qabri wa min fitnat il-mahyaa wa’l-mamaat wa min sharri fitnat al-maseeh al-dajjal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the torment of Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the fitnah of the Dajjal).”’”

[Narrated by Muslim, no. 924]

The Prophet ? said: “Whoever memorizes ten aayaat from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal” – i.e., from his fitnah. Muslim said: “Shu’bah said, ‘from the end of al-Kahf.’ Hammaam said, ‘from the beginning of al-Kahf.’” Al-Nawawi said: “The reason for this is because at the beginning of (this surah), mention is made of wonders and signs, and whoever ponders them will not be deceived by the fitnah of the Dajjal. And at the end of this surah, Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves as awliyaa’ (lords etc.) besides Me?’ [al-Kahf 18:102].”

O Muslims, make the best of this world in order to earn Jannah. Make serious commitment to live our days differently. Hold ourselves to a higher standard. Heed this advice by Ibn Al-Jawzi :

“This world is the harvest field of the Hereafter; and in it, there is business, the profit of which will be visible in the Hereafter. So whoever utilizes his free time and good health in the obedience of Allah , he is the blessed one.

And he who utilizes them in the disobedience of Allah , he is the one who is unjust to himself, because the leisure time is affected by busyness and health is affected by sickness.”
