Iskra at marshaling yard Zalog, Slovenia

As you can see Iskra is not only focused on regional and mainlines but we are also focused on shunting and marshaling yards as well. After more than 30 years in service Iskra has been given a task to modernize and upgrade one of the biggest marshaling yards in SE Europe. Here in Slovenia very close to Ljubljana at Zalog, we are currently running a project to install a new adaptive state of the art digitalized control system to control more than 38 tracks at the same time. The works are in the commissioning phase and in 3 months’ time, the system will be handed over to Slovenian Railways. This shows Iskra's knowledge is everywhere on the tracks and more is coming.
