ISDN SWITCH OFF: WHAT WILL REPLACE IT?
Did you know the UK is set to switch off ISDN phone lines by 2025? ISDN and PSTN circuits will be switched off and customers will move over to VoIP telephone systems.
WHEN WILL ISDN BE SWITCHED OFF?
The current set date of the ISDN switch off is December 2025. We do not expect any delays to this date at this point but will update if any are announced.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF THE ISDN SWITCH OFF?
The largest risk facing businesses around the subject of the ISDN switch off is complete loss of phone communication. If a businesses are not prepared before the switch off date they might find that they’re at a back of a long queue of instillations whilst also having no telephone system. This could cost businesses customers and revenue.
WILL ANYTHING ELSE BE AFFECTED BY THE ISDN SWITCH OFF?
