ISB -Future CHRO-Batch 3

ISB -Future CHRO-Batch 3

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve successfully completed the #FutureCHROprogram at the #Indian School of Business Hyderabad. What began as a quest for knowledge evolved into a truly transformative experience over the past six months. The exposure to advanced strategies and fresh insights has empowered me with the confidence to make a significant impact in the HR field.

Thank You Dr. Chandrasekhar Sripada and the team at ISB for their outstanding leadership in creating this program. Professors Himanshu Tambe Sougata Ray Ram Nidumolu, PhD , Prothit Sen Rick Smith, Ph.D. for your insightful sessions.

And to my peers…

In the lecture hall during our first campus immersion, as I scanned the handpicked 30, I was aware of the official selection criteria, but I found myself wondering the unwritten. What united this cohort, while everyone had ‘The Subtle Art of being the Future CHRO’s’ filled with experience and intellect? In not so much did I realise the common thread was our ‘Sense of Humour’ which was remarkable. For we laughed with the other, at each other but mostly importantly laughed at & about ourselves too. “You have to be able to laugh at yourself. Attitude is more important than what happens to you”. Connecting and collaborating came naturally, while we voiced our disagreements, we did so in good spirit.

Six months in a jiffy, being a student again, campus life filled with thought provoking session morning to evening, complemented by a bowl of chocolates for sugar rush and coffee breaks to keep us energised. Conclude the day, dinners, parties, late night walks, Maggi and coffees on campus. The most challenging phase was Capstone Projects. Some thrived under pressure and last-minute preparations & burn the mid night oil, while others preferred agility and updating presentations minutes before (Our Project Team Sandhya, Ruchi, Raghvesh and Ratnadeep). Some followed a more collaborative approach, preparing the project while others contributed as needed, and a few were prepared well in advance. We also owe thanks to unknown faces and names who helped bring our projects to completion. It’s true - it takes all kinds to make the world, and so in this cohort we exemplified this diversity and thoroughly lived & loved the experience.

The relationship built during this time is invaluable. We received insights on their strengths and alternate career options which seem very promising, knowing very we would have a supportive and encouraging audience when we set out. Some of us have questioned – “To Be or Not to Be CHRO’s”, yet we have completed the course successfully. There is no better time than today to invest in yourself. Cheers to Peers – Congratulations to each one of us!!
