DAY #11
ISAIAH 4:3-6
?
3 ???????? And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 ???????? When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
5 ???????? And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
6 ???????? And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Those that remain in Zion, shall be called holy. These are then Messianic believers in Christ. Verse four speaks of those gone during this horrific time as having been washed away. God washes away our sin, by the blood of HIS Son, Jesus. These are those who chose their sinful ways.
Verses five and six reflect the story of the Exodus, where God led them with a pillar of cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night. This reference specifically speaks of God being a defense and a refuge. This makes their choice to follow Jesus, a place able to withstand trials. A storm can rage. Searing heat of the day can attempt to harm, but God has this! He is there protecting HIS own! These references are to the presence of God in their midst. This is a joyous time. A time to commune with the LIVING GOD!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please strengthen me. I feel so little, so small. Yet I know the power in Your Word stands powerfully. I want Your Word to dwell within me so much that I am ready to give others answers when they ask. Your Word has the power to transform even those who hear it spoken. Lord, may You bless me with understanding and clarity, that I may share Your Word more effectively.
In Jesus name, Amen.
