IS-546 and IS-547 Courses Officially Retired

IS-546 and IS-547 Courses Officially Retired

Our online IS-546.A: Continuity of Operations Awareness Course and IS-547.A: Introduction to Continuity of Operations Course have been retired and replaced with the IS-1300: Introduction to Continuity of Operations Course. https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=IS-1300

The exams for both the IS-546 and IS-547 will remain available until Jan. 3rd, 2020.

The updated IS-1300 course is intended to lay the foundation of knowledge for students who wish to increase their understanding of continuity and building a comprehensive continuity program in their organization, jurisdiction or community.

Are those of us who've already taken 546 & 547 grandfathered in and don't have to take 1300?

I assume the requirements for Level 1 Continuity Practitioner will be updated as well?

It was nice to take IS 1300 as a single solution to replace both of the old courses.
