With the past year and a diminishing economy please be aware that Arson fires will be on an upward trend. Not all irregular shaped patterns found within a fire scene test positive for accelerants and or ignitable liquids, but this photo is a text book picture. This was a failed attempt to completely destroy this home by using vehicle motor oil as an accelerant.

Now, that takes a moment or two to get it to ignite and sustain combustion. Was it standard or synthetic oil?
