Today's irony is that a lot of us are reclaiming our lives in the face of Coronavirus. When was the last time we met ourselves and introspected or for that matter when was the last time we spent quality time with our family, patiently listening to their stories and playing with them?
Coronavirus has impacted each one of us in a lot many ways and has also led to a lot of us thinking "What Next?". I've always believed that the "Wait" is not what bothers people but the "Uncertainty" associated with the wait that drives us bonkers. Despite all of this, we need to not let go of this opportunity to have a rendezvous with ourselves - It maybe is a once in a lifetime opportunity to press the reset button of our lives and course correct. A few things to facilitate this rendezvous could be;
1) Meditate
2) Yoga
3) Talk to yourself
4) Take feedback from your family, especially the kids since they have a very non-contaminated way of looking at things.
5) Read
6) Self Learn something new
7) Write
This list is obviously not exhaustive but can be a good start. As we continue to battle the pandemic, we have the opportunity to clean up the pandemic that has affected us not physically but at a much deeper level within allowing us the fabled opportunity of "Killing Two Birds with One Stone" - Stay at home and Introspect as well as practise "Social Distancing" to flatten out the Corona Curve.
I'm sure that All of Us Together can and will beat the Corona Pandemic but What if we cannot leverage on this Once in a Life Time Opportunity to Overcome the Internal Pandemic.
