The International Research Council on Biomechanics of Injury (IRCOBI) is a prestigious professional body that unites researchers dedicated to vehicle occupant safety and those engaged in experimental and computational biomechanics.?
Since 1973 IRCOBI has been organizing an annual, international scientific conference in Europe to review new knowledge and create a forum for disseminating research and activity on human tolerance to impact and injury prevention. Typical topics presented include field data and epidemiological studies, experimental and computational modeling of injury, and assessment of current mitigation systems, procedures, and devices. The peer-reviewed proceedings of the IRCOBI conference are now recognized internationally as an important source of knowledge on impact biomechanics and crash-injury studies.
The IRCOBI also holds conferences in Asia and the Asia conference returns to India for its 2025 edition! The conference will be held from 25th to 27th June 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, INDIA.
Papers are invited to be presented at the conference and the submission portal is open now!
Stay tuned for information about industry participation through sponsorship and product exhibitions!
Stay tuned to know about the list of expert speakers!
By bringing together diverse expertise from all around the world, the workshop and conference aim to enhance understanding of occupant protection measures and promote advancements in safety technology, ultimately contributing to a safer driving environment in India and beyond.
