In the latest Express Entry draw held on December 06, 2023, the Immigration Refugees Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 4,750 invitations to candidates in an all program draw with candidates requiring a minimum CRS score of 561 in order to be eligible. This was the first draw which was held after a long gap since October 26.
3,600 invitations were sent to candidates for healthcare occupations in a category based draw which was held on October, 26. The same week saw two other draws which were held on October 25 and October 24.
300 invitations were issued to candidates who were proficient in French speaking in a category based draw held on October 25, and the minimum required CRS score was 486 to be eligible.

1,548 invitations were sent to candidates in a Provincial Nominee Program only draw which was held on October 24, and candidates were required to have a minimum score of 776 to be eligible.
Those candidates in the Express Entry nominated through PNP will receive 600 CRS points additionally, making the CRS score to be higher for this type of draw.
IRCC selects candidates in the category based draw; these draws target candidates in the Express Entry who meet the requirements for specific requirements such as proficiency in French language or having work experience in 1 of the 5 occupations, which are the STEM professions, Healthcare, Transport, Trades, Agriculture and Agri food. The category based draw of skilled trade professionals will begin in December, 2023.
