IPS End-of-Year Celebration
IPS wrapped up 2024 with a vibrant African-themed celebration at Brazilian Rodizio, where team members showcased their cultural pride through African-themed games, African attire and dancing to African beats. A special Long-Serving Awards session honoured staff with over 10 years of dedication to Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) , marking a fitting end to the year.
Green Hydrogen Panel Highlights at GABS 2024
Mohamed Osman , Head of Infrastructure East Africa at Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) , joined a panel at the German-African Business Summit (GABS) 2024 to discuss African-German cooperation in green hydrogen and power-to-fertiliser technologies. GABS 2024 brought together industry leaders to explore Africa’s renewable energy potential for green hydrogen applications.
A Tree Growing Campaign
Farmer's Choice Limited , in partnership with Allpack Industries Limited and Premier Foods Limited ( Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) project companies), planted 3,000 indigenous tree seedlings at Kinangop as part of a tree-growing campaign launched on World Environment Day 2024. Since the beginning of the campaign, IPS Group has grown and provided aftercare to over 17,000 trees.
Green Hydrogen Fertiliser Company at REC24
Green Hydrogen Fertiliser Company (GHFC), a joint venture of Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) and Westgass Hydrogen , participated in Renewable Energy Conference 2024 (REC24), organised by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (Uganda) and National Renewable Energy Platform (NREP) - Uganda , in Kampala, Uganda. The GHFC team joined discussions on green hydrogen’s economic impacts, safety strategies, resilient food systems, and regional partnerships for a sustainable hydrogen value chain.
Stride Towards Empowerment
The Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) team participated in the 渣打银行 Nairobi Marathon, completing 21KM and 10KM races. Embodying their motto 'Pamoja Tusonge Mbele' (Together Moving Forward), the team's motivation extended beyond personal achievement to supporting the Future Makers Initiative. Post-race, team members celebrated with snacks from Farmer's Choice Limited , an IPS project company.

Advocating for Renewable Energy Solutions at GECO 2024
Aleem Karmali , IPS Head of Infrastructure, joined a panel session to discuss SDG 7 at the Global Engineering Conference (GECO 2024) in Kigali, Rwanda. He spoke on the vital role of SDG7 and shared how Ruzizi III Energy Limited , an Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) pipeline project, will contribute towards sustainable development by providing clean and affordable energy.
WENRECo’s Stakeholder Engagement in West Nile
West Nile Rural Electrification Company Limited , an Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) project company, hosted a stakeholder engagement session to discuss the region’s electricity supply. General Manager Eng. Kenneth Kigumba - MIET, MIEEE, MUIPE, REng addressed topics like power reliability, safety, tariffs, and demand creation, while stakeholders shared feedback. The session highlighted WENRECo’s commitment to transparent collaboration and improving electricity access in West Nile.

Premier Foods Limited , an Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) project company, celebrated remarkable wins at the Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards 2024: ?? Most Preferred Kids Juice (Orchid Valley Delight 250ml), Most Preferred Campaign (Wakali wa KuPEPea), and Most Preferred Ready-to-Drink Juice (Recharge Dawa). Pep Squashes and Orchid Valley Juice were also honoured as 1st runners-up in their categories.
