Green Hydrogen Panel Highlights at GABS 2024

Mohamed Osman , Head of Infrastructure East Africa at Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) , joined a panel at the German-African Business Summit (GABS) 2024 to discuss African-German cooperation in green hydrogen and power-to-fertiliser technologies. GABS 2024 brought together industry leaders to explore Africa’s renewable energy potential for green hydrogen applications.

A Tree Growing Campaign

Farmer's Choice Limited , in partnership with Allpack Industries Limited and Premier Foods Limited ( Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) project companies), planted 3,000 indigenous tree seedlings at Kinangop as part of a tree-growing campaign launched on World Environment Day 2024. Since the beginning of the campaign, IPS Group has grown and provided aftercare to over 17,000 trees.

Green Hydrogen Fertiliser Company at REC24

Green Hydrogen Fertiliser Company (GHFC), a joint venture of Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) and Westgass Hydrogen , participated in Renewable Energy Conference 2024 (REC24), organised by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (Uganda) and National Renewable Energy Platform (NREP) - Uganda , in Kampala, Uganda. The GHFC team joined discussions on green hydrogen’s economic impacts, safety strategies, resilient food systems, and regional partnerships for a sustainable hydrogen value chain.

Stride Towards Empowerment

The Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) team participated in the 渣打银行 Nairobi Marathon, completing 21KM and 10KM races. Embodying their motto 'Pamoja Tusonge Mbele' (Together Moving Forward), the team's motivation extended beyond personal achievement to supporting the Future Makers Initiative. Post-race, team members celebrated with snacks from Farmer's Choice Limited , an IPS project company.
