Is the iPhone 8 Worth the Money?
Not with a bang, but with a whimper: The iPhone 8 launched with little fanfare on Friday, drawing smaller crowds at Apple Stores than usual and leading shares to the worst week of any iPhone launch. But the lackluster response isn’t necessarily a bad thing, say analysts: Consumers are waiting for the soon-to-be-released iPhone X, the $1,000 smartphone with a fresh design and slew of new features. "The iPhone 8 reminds me of the fifth Transformers movie — you know it’s new, though you can’t for the life of you figure out how it’s different,” writes Geoffrey Fowler in The Wall Street Journal. ? #iPhone8Launch

Idea of the Day: “Sleep isn’t a nice to have,” says author and consultant Bernard Marr; a lack of it has very real effects on productivity, motivation, and creativity at work. And skimping on zzz’s starts a vicious cycle: According to the National Sleep Foundation, employees spend an extra 4.5 hours working at home each week to deal with lost productivity during the day — which only makes it tougher to sleep that night.
“If you want to catapult your professional success and prevent a plethora of negative effects on your career, a powerful first step is to try to solve your sleep issues.”
