IPCC climate report that you (propably) missed

Because media seems to be able to talk about only one issue at the time (and currently all eyes are, understandably, on what is happening in Ukraine), there are major things that people miss.
One of the most important ones is what is happening with the planet we live in.
The newest report of the IPCC panel has come out and things are looking pretty bleak. So, while we are now concentrating on Cold War part 2 and considering spending billions more on militaries (the weapon industry appreciates that!) we should not forget that having a livable planet is quite important, too. Especially (but not only) to generations coming after us.
The reaction towards Russia shows that we are capable of fast, huge measures on a global scale. Could we react the same way towards climate change?
