IoT and RFID based solutions appear more modular now…

There could be many components in an IoT solution, involving active sensors or passive RFID (UHF, HF, NFC) tags or even non-serialized objects in industrial and commercial applications. But after implementing many solutions, I have learnt that there are only three major parts from data point of view. It has become easier now for us – thanks to extensive experience in DevOps and interests in electronics and physics (don’t be afraid of hardware ??).

Here are three slices of data to put together:

1)     Read raw data stream from tags or sensors on a regular interval or on sensor’s event

2)     Transform this raw data feed into operational data against unique EPC/UID

3)     Associate EPC/UID sensors’ transformed data with your business-application’s data

That’s it… you have now all information (derived from data) to deliver real-time Location Intelligence (Identify – Locate – Track) for your assets which could be anything, e.g., personnel, equipment, medicines, apparel, weapons, folders, jewelry, plants, or anything relevant for your business operations.

It gives you a very scalable solution which can be expanded with many value-added features and capabilities, such as, spatial, business intelligence, rules engine, blockchain, cybersecurity, and on and on…

If you plan and design carefully then it becomes instrumental in the digital transformation journey of your organization. You can build some Proof-of-Concept with some smaller baby steps to build confidence and experience overall Return-On-Investment (ROI).

We bring our experience and know-how to streamline your internal and external logistics for assets and personnel.
