Internship Program: Shaping the Future of Technology

Since last month, we have been privileged to host a dynamic group of interns, each bringing unique perspectives and fresh energy to Microfuse Computer Technologies . Our internship program has been designed to provide hands-on experience and foster innovation among aspiring tech enthusiasts.

Here are some of the groundbreaking projects our interns have been involved in;

Drone Development: Our interns have been deeply engaged in designing and building drones capable of various applications, including aerial surveillance and agricultural monitoring. This project has not only enhanced their technical skills but also provided them with invaluable insights into the complexities of drone technology.

Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Monitoring System: Health technology is at the forefront of innovation, and our interns have contributed by developing a sophisticated pulse oximeter and heart rate monitoring system. This device aims to provide accurate and real-time health data, which is crucial for monitoring patient health, especially in remote areas.

Soil Moisture Monitoring System: Agriculture technology is another critical area, and our interns have been working on a soil moisture monitoring system. This project focuses on creating a device that can help farmers optimize water usage and improve crop yield by providing precise moisture level readings.

These projects are a testament to the talent and dedication of our interns, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.

Distinguished Delegation Visits

We have had the honor of hosting several distinguished delegations at our offices, each bringing valuable insights and fostering collaborative opportunities.

MTN Uganda CEO Visit: e were thrilled to welcome Mulinge Sylvia M.B.S , CEO of MTN, to our Innovation Hub. Her visit marked the inauguration of the MTN ACE cohort II, and we had the opportunity to showcase our latest projects and discuss potential collaborations. Ms. Mulinge’s insights and leadership have been inspiring, and we look forward to future partnerships with MTN.

Close the Gap Kenya : Representatives from Close the Gap Kenya also paid us a visit, exploring potential synergies and collaborative efforts. Their commitment to bridging the digital divide aligns with our mission of making technology accessible to all, and we are excited about the prospects of working together to achieve this goal.

Uganda Industrial Research Institute Visit: Our interns had the unique opportunity to visit the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI). This visit provided them with a deeper understanding of industrial processes and research methodologies, enhancing their learning experience and inspiring them to pursue excellence in their respective projects.

National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS Kuru : We were honored to host a delegation from the National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Nigeria. Their visit was instrumental in discussing strategic initiatives and policies that can drive technological advancement and innovation in Africa. The exchange of ideas and experiences was enriching for both parties, and we look forward to continued collaboration.
