IOSH Working Safely at DB Schenker UK

This week at DB Schenker UK the QSHE department has delivered our first IOSH Working Safely Courses. The aim of using this specific course is to raise awareness and deliver a standard foundation level of H&S knowledge across the business. The intention is to improve the H&S culture, decrease workplace incidents in alignment with DB Group Target Zero and another step towards becoming an employer of choice.

The training was delivered to two small groups and split over two days in order to reduce the impact on operations. It was interactive, hands-on and fun whilst delivering an important message.

I personally really enjoyed delivering the sessions and feel increasing awareness is a crucial part of my role as the QSHE manager for the UK. I'm looking forward to spreading this awareness and knowledge with my team across the rest of our UK facilities.
