IonOpticks announces strategic global expansion with key leadership appointments

IonOpticks , a world-leading provider of chromatography solutions, today announce two key appointments to strengthen its global operations, enhancing access and support for the LC-MS industry. Erik Verschuuren joins as Head of Global Sales, while Zac Anderson takes the role of Business Development Manager for North America.?

Erik Verschuuren brings three decades of life science sales experience to IonOpticks, including 20 years in management and business development roles. His extensive background includes leadership positions at several prominent companies in the proteomics field including Applied Biosystems, Proxeon, Thermo and Evosep.??

Complementing this strategic leadership appointment, Zac Anderson joins as Business Development Manager for North America, bringing over eight years of biotechnology industry experience. Anderson's background combines scientific expertise with business acumen, including extensive work with mass spectrometry vendors and research laboratories. His specialisations in discovery proteomics, quantitative proteomics, antibody sequencing, and immunopeptidomics position him ideally to support the North American research community. Anderson holds Science degrees from the University of Guelph, complemented by studies in Business and Administration.

In 2025, IonOpticks will significantly grow its global operations while maintaining key functions, including manufacturing, in Australia. The expanded global presence will enhance customer’s direct access to IonOpticks’ representatives and offer greater opportunities for consultation and collaboration.
